SUCCESSFUL AND SUSTAINABLE INITIATIVES
- 2014: Established a 120-hour General English program for all new students at Salahaddin University in collaboration with Reading University. The Ministry of Higher Education mandated it as a core module for all public and private universities in the Kurdistan Region.
- 2013: Established the module "Academic Debate and Critical Thinking" with an IRIS grant and collaboration with Appalachian University (UK). The Ministry of Higher Education mandated it as a core module for all public and private universities in the Kurdistan Region.
- 2013: Implemented a quality assurance system at Salahaddin University with a DelPHE grant and support from Coventry University (UK).
- 2012: Founded the Erbil Forum for Sustainable Development with five international universities to support the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in project management.
- 2000: Established the first Software Engineering Department in Iraq.
